Spectral Decay Studios is unique, in that it is the only sound production specific outfit in the entire state. Because of this, we can give your project the level of undivided attention you're just not going to get elsewhere.
Here are some examples of recent projects:

"A Story About Stars" is a type of “tone poem” to be used as part of a multi-media or laser show presentation.
The story is about a night trip to an observatory in an exotic land. The music and effects are designed to convey a sense of wonder and magic, as images of constellations pass before the audience's eyes.
The work was done using midi and voice, and mixed in Pro Tools.

"Magic Hour" is from a current project.
This is another tone poem I did, featuring sung vocals. I was inspired by a long night, a new relationship and watching the sun rise--not by looking out the window, but by seeing the light in my bedroom change.
The music tracks are samples I arranged and mixed. The vocals are mine.
I really like the way it turned out, so next steps for this will be to hire musicians and turn it into a full-fledged song.

"Over The Moon" is a theme song written for a world music radio show I did.
The goal was to create something fun upbeat, yet vaguely evocative of Edith Piaf.
I find it's made a great intro and outro: interesting and catchy on it's own but fades nicely into the background on voiceovers and is just the right length to start and end a program.
All the music is written, by me, in midi, using Logic Pro.
"Atlantis Beach Party" is music for use in a multi-component commercial campaign for an island resort.
The client requested music that would make the listener "long to get away." I imagined a winter office denizen in January, dreaming of his next vacation. By creating spaced sections that can be chopped up as needed, the client has the ability to use the same piece for different advertising applications without sounding stale.
This music was created using loops, ocean sounds and original midi in Ableton.
"Club Bust" is a quick and dirty sample from a foley project.
This one was a quick demo created for a prospective video project. The work was done pre-dialog, so only background ambience is present. It is meant to convey an idea, rather than a finished product. Having said that, Making up a story using only sound was a lot of fun.

The set up is a club on a busy night. The band is playing, people are having a good time, then a fight breaks out. In the interest of time, the music and effects were sourced from different effects and music artists, and the final product demo was mixed and mastered in-house.
